瑪琳達與正妹同事席拉總是一起輪值大夜班，應該是個平靜無聊的工作夜，誰知道一個走投無路的搶匪比利拿著槍說要搶劫，兩人當下隨即成為人質。但由於前十分鐘瑪琳達才點收完現金放入保險箱，收銀機只剩下一張紙鈔，頓時讓搶劫行動走調變樣。

眼看著仇人就要前來追債，比利這時只想趕快拿到現金擺脫接下來的麻煩，向來作風古怪的瑪琳達竟大發神經的提議想和比利遠走天涯。
